With air traffic on the rise and the Airport’s East Wing taking on a greater share of passengers, we will be installing new immersive, high-impact digital advertising solutions to reach passengers at departures and arrivals in this building dedicated to long-haul flights from the second quarter of 2024. Air traffic continues to increase

Reality is exceeding predictions. The number of passengers in 2023 was expected to be 10% lower than 2019, but the current trend is 8.7% less, with October at -3.6% compared to 2019. Retail sales are also back to a level close to 2019. Travel Retail has regained its position as the 6th largest channel for the major luxury and cosmetics brands. The indicators are all pointing in the right direction.

The importance of the new East Wing

The building was built to provide better facilities for large aircraft and their passengers, and to enhance the region's international influence and economic prosperity. Today, this building handles over 35% of the airport's passenger traffic, with a particular focus on international destinations (UK, Dubai, Turkey, USA, Canada, Middle East, China).
