“Blickwechsel” Exhibition by the Graphic Design Class in Lucerne

The third-year students in the Graphic Design Class in Lucerne gave free rein to their creativity on the theme of “Shifts” and opened up exciting new perspectives.

This marks our sixth collaboration with the Graphic Design Class in Lucerne. Diverse interpretations and inspiring ideas make the posters unique and the exhibition well worth seeing. They encourage the public to reflect.

This year’s poster exhibition explores the phenomenon of shift. Some shifts are internal. Thoughts drift away from old certainties, attitudes shift, desires push forward. Others are external and become visible in language, relationships, work, politics, or art.

Political shifts alter power and interpretation. Psychological shifts alter self-images and expectations. Historical shifts alter order and memory. And we live right in the middle of it all, rarely prepared, but always affected.

We want to trace such movements. Where do they arise and why? What forces drive them? And what remains behind when something shifts? Because sometimes a small step to the side is enough to see that the ground has long since been in motion.

Michelle Sameli, Head of Marketing & Communication at Goldbach Neo:

Every year, we are surprised anew by the creativity of the graphic design class. What stands out is that their approach to the topic is always unique. For this year’s theme, “Shifts,” we have ten “Change of Perspective” posters that offer inspiration and new ideas. The geopolitical situation is just as much a subject of design as the throwaway society, inheritance tax, or the current debate on the housing shortage. Where else can you find such a colorful mix of topics?! For Goldbach Neo, it is essential to provide a platform for this diversity right in the heart of Lucerne to reach a diverse audience and spark a debate. So, in 2026, we invite you once again to dare to take a “Blickwechsel.”
