"Blickwechsel" exhibition by the graphic design class and Goldbach Neo in Lucerne
This year, the students in the graphic design class have been working on the topic of "disappearance". Their works can be admired in the Piazza at the Luzerner Kantonalbank in Lucerne until 25 March 2025.
This is the fifth year that we have worked with the Lucerne School of Art and Design. The wide range of interpretations and inspiring ideas make the posters unique and the exhibition well worth seeing. They encourage the public to reflect.
This year's poster exhibition shows the phenomenon of disappearance, which we encounter in many different ways. But does every disappearance mean a loss? Perhaps not always. Disappearance often goes hand in hand with transformation.
The students grappled with fundamental questions: What remains when something disappears? Isn't it often the case that more is lost than just the tangible – namely, values, traditions and the knowledge of how to shape the world with our own hands?
Disappearance is inextricably linked to progress and seems unavoidable. But it invites us to pause and reflect: what do we want to preserve – and what are we willing to let go?

Michelle Sameli, Head of Marketing & Communication:
«Doomscrolling, Botox, the Lord's Supper, ski slopes! A variety of aspects of our daily lives that have one thing in common: disappearance. Once again, the graphic design class is giving us a creative experience of a selected topic. With a youthful and blunt look, you are immersed in the world of disappearance. The result is a series of unique works that are shown to full effect on the posters. They invite you to take a stroll, pause for a moment and let time disappear for a while. »
